Participation within Annual NEO-ICP-ENFP Meeting (04-06.02.2025, Brussels)

On 4–6 February 2025, meetings of the European Commission and its services with the National Agencies, Offices and Contact Points of Erasmus+ from more than 100 countries worldwide took place in Brussels, Belgium.

During the event, panel discussions were held on the impact of the Erasmus+ Programme, its development and future perspectives. Participants exchanged experiences and successful practices and discussed challenges related to the programme’s implementation as well as possible solutions. Training sessions for the offices and contact points were also organised, focusing on the specific features of upcoming calls for proposals.

In addition, during regional workshops with representatives of DG EAC, policy officers responsible for the Eastern Neighbourhood countries, EACEA project officers, and coordinators of the National Erasmus+ Offices from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine, the NEO Ukraine Coordinator, Svitlana Shytikova, presented the current situation in Ukraine in the fields of education, vocational training, youth and sport during martial law, as well as the impact of Erasmus+ projects at different levels.

The NEO team in Ukraine invited participants to a webinar organised as part of a joint initiative prepared together with EACEA in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, focusing on the specific aspects of implementing Erasmus+ projects during martial law in Ukraine.

Furthermore, during the partnering sessions, Svitlana Shytikova and Veronika Tkachenko met with colleagues from National Erasmus+ Agencies, National Offices, and Erasmus+ student and alumni associations to discuss partner search for upcoming Erasmus+ calls and opportunities for organising joint activities.
